This location is #9 on our Greek Vacations landmarks map!
We set sail on a yacht sailboat, at 09:00 (metric time, equivalent to 9:00 AM) from Tourlos Marina. Our first stop, about one hour away, is the renowned Big Delos island. There, you can explore one of Greek history’s most famous archaeological sites: the birthplace of Olympian gods Apollo and Artemis.
You’ll have roughly one hour to wander this significant ancient cult center.
Back on the boat, we’ll serve a traditional Mykonian lunch with a drink of your choice as we sail to Rhenia island. Rhenia, about four times larger than its sacred sister Delos, spans roughly 5.4 square miles (14 square kilometers) and is separated by a narrow channel. Uninhabited, it features four secluded sandy beaches—Glyfada, Stena, Lia, and Ambelia—nestled in protected coves. Rhenia’s stunning waters, ranging from emerald green to turquoise blue, make it a popular yachting spot.
We’ll anchor in a secluded bay with a pristine white beach, free from crowds. You’ll have ample time to swim in crystal waters, snorkel to observe marine life (no special training or equipment needed), relax on the beach surrounded by untouched nature, or, for the adventurous, explore the island on foot. We expect to return to Tourlos Marina around 15:00 (3:00 PM).
